Facial Acne Facts. Know the truth about Facial Acne.

Hey, do you struggle with facial acne? Or do you have a friend who does?

Well here’s some free acne information we think can help. We’ll be discussing:

• what are acne breakouts

• why they occur

• And acne treatment

Are you ready...? Ok let’s begin.

Acne Breakouts

When our skin breakouts we see swelling at first, then redness, followed by pustular lesions and finally scars. These are the stages of acne development.

We breakout when our pores are clogged with dead skin cells or debris and sebum.

Sebum is oil that our bodies naturally produce. It lubricates our hair as well as our skin. It’s also secreted by the sebaceous glands in our skin.

So what does sebum have to do with acne and breakouts?

Well, for those of us who do struggle with acne, sebum can be a nightmare.

You see, it normally travels upward through our pores and unto the surface of our skin. But if for some reason these pores are clogged then the sebum is trapped and guess what……

We develop blackheads and whiteheads. This is the beginning of the swelling stage that we talked about earlier.

Hey… click on the link above and read more about blackheads, whiteheads and how to get rid of them. We’ll wait right here for you to return.

Did you find it interesting?

I hope you did. Why not try some of the treatments. We guarantee that your blackheads or whiteheads will disappear.

Ok…… let’s move on to the next phase of acne.

Blackheads and whiteheads aren’t really considered acne…… at least, not yet. It is the works of little skin bacteria called propionobacterium acnes (or P. acnes for short) that is responsible.

It’s this bacterium that changes our blackheads and whiteheads into acne pimples (aka pustules). I guess it’s at this point we shout out:

“Oh no, it’s happening again!”

If you say that having acne pimples is very depressing, we totally agree with you. It really is. But the last stage of acne can be just as frustrating. This stage is the acne scar stage. Click again on the link above to read more about acnes scars.

“So why do some people suffer from facial acne and others don’t?”

We’ve heard this question asked a million times.……

Ok, maybe not a million, but it’s quite popular.

You see, there are two popular factors that contribute to our acne breakouts. Hormonal imbalance is one. Some of us develop Hormonal Acne because of the changes our bodies go through at different points in our lives.

The other is having acne prone skin. Some skin types such as oily skin are more likely to breakout than others.

But there are other factors that are not so popular but also play a devastating role. Click me to read more about these Other Acne Causes.
